Does the BMI standards differ in other countries? Like what I'm saying is, America is fat. If I weighed 145 pounds I would be fat but considered "normal". In other countries is the standard for "normal" lower?
I'm just curious. I'm only 5'4" so that seems like a LOT of weight for my height. Maybe my brain is just screwed up into thinking that though. I really can't tell anymore.
Right now my BMI is technically "underweight" but I don't look like it and I certainlly don't feel like it.
Skinny for prom!!!!!
I gotta get skinny for prom too!
ReplyDeleteStay strong~ We can do it! :)
And I don't think BMI standards differ in other countries. But yeah... to me, "normal" always equals "fat" and "underweight" equals "acceptable" and "emaciated" equals "skinny."
I am 5'4" too (a mom though) and was 140/145 for awhile - i am finally starting to get it off and keep it off - it is a lot of weight - even though people always say - you look so good! barf! man, i would love to be considered underweight - cause that means i would have met my goal weight - i'm sure you'll look fab for your prom!
